Delta Air Lines “Big Give” Telethon

The Activation: To build employee awareness, excitement and participation, Engine Shop Agency helped to launch the “Big Give,” a six week telethon series that celebrated Delta’s caring culture and promoted giving. Employees participated in fun activities and campaign donors were given premium prizes during the live telethon that was televised internally for Delta employees. The 70’s classic game show aesthetic inspired the “Big Give” telethon set with modern monochromatic arches, a faux call center equipped with lit marquee letters that highlighted the weekly taped segments. Engine Shop Agency handled all creative ideation, execution, marketing assets, décor, furniture and production for the entire telethon series.

All About The Music Episode: Different segments were introduced on a weekly basis to encourage employee engagement and donations. Entertainer and Philanthropist Ludacris joined the Delta crew to host a musical segment called “Guess That Tune.”

The Biscoff Challenge Episode: The Great Biscoff Buildoff celebrated the participants best creative decorating while they raced  against the clock in week 3. Successful restauranteur and entrepreneur Pinky Cole of the Slutty Vegan franchise helped to host and choose a winner for this unique challenge.

The Wellness Episode: In week 4, the audience watched along with Delta Executives and select audience employees as they tried to figure out different food items in a game called “Now Feel This” where the contestants felt the food in order to guess what it was without seeing it. Most of the food selected for this game could be found in the Delta garden on the Delta Headquarters campus. The crowd was joined by celebrity guest Super Bowl Champion DeMario Pressley of the New Orleans Saints.
